James, we have several exciting features we're considering adding to Student Payouts in the future, so be sure to check back often. We also just launched our Student Writing Jobs section that helps students partner with website owners who need content written for their websites.

Thanks for the info! I'm signing up to give it a shot. I spend a LOT of money at some of the stores listed on the Upromise webiste, so it only makes sense. Hope to see more content here, you've done a nice job with the site.

I couldn't find any specific information for or against people from outside the United States joining Upromise. And remember...it's not job...instead it's
a way to earn money for making purchases at participating retail stores, restaurants, drug/grocery stores and more.
Here is a quote from their site,
"An active member is one who enrolls in Upromise Savings programs by registering a valid credit card, debit card or grocery card at the time of enrollment."
I suppose you wouldn't be able to participate in every aspect of the program since you are in India (perhaps many of the restaurants are not located there, for example) but I don't see why you couldn't still make purchases at online stores (Apple.com, BestBuy.com, HomeDepot.com) and not have that count.
It might be best to contact their support department to ask so you can be sure, but I couldn't find anything saying it's exclusively for people in the U.S.
